Bloom Yoga + Wellness Soon to Embrace Ayurveda into its Practice
March 23, 2011
Considered to be the world’s oldest healing science, Ayurveda (or, “the Science of Life”) assesses each person’s unique pattern of energy to rebalance the formula of health in their life. And this December, Bloom Yoga + Wellness will be bringing these principles to its practice.
“This is so exciting because my philosophy of wellness has always included mental, physical, and spiritual components,” says Kirstie Smith, founder of Bloom. Indeed, Ayurveda places great emphasis on prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through balancing diet, lifestyle, and a positive mindset.
After completing over a year of extensive workshops in the ancient healing art, Kirstie will be one of the Ottawa Valley’s only accredited Ayurvedic practitioners. Bloom is pleased to offer one-on-one Ayurvedic consultations to assess clients’ unique body constitutions, as well as several forms of ancient healing massages customized to unique health needs.
