MEDIATION Worshops

Exploring Meditation

We’ll provide simple techniques to help you bring peace of mind to your daily life. We’ll explore moving meditation, breath work, yin yoga, and total body relaxation techniques to calm your mind while feeding your spirit.

Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep)

This workshop employs full-body relaxation techniques to bring stillness to the troubled mind and relieve stress and anxiety caused by traumatic experiences. This transformative practice will inspire lasting changes from the inside out through guided meditation techniques proven to quiet the troubled mind.

Yoga Nidra Teen

Based on proven Yoga Nidra techniques, we’ll help bring peace of mind to troubled youth and teens by teaching them easy techniques they can call upon to help them deal with heavy emotional burdens in a healthy and constructive way.

This workshop will turn your running regime into a moving meditation. We’ll show you how to stretch all the right muscles to increase your stride length and help you undo the damage done to your body by a lifetime of running. A special focus is placed on providing you with techniques to run safely for the rest of your life.

Yoga for Arthritis

Using cushions and support aids, we’ll guide participants of all ages through easy and gentle yoga techniques to ease joint pain and enhance overall health.

Partner Yoga

Friends, spouses, parents and children—come and lean on each other while strengthen- ing your bodies and your relationship at the same time. We’ll explore partnering yoga techniques that you can continue to practice at home.

Yoga for Kids

Focus your kids’ energy and build their self-confidence with this fun, creative yoga session! Children will learn how their body moves through yoga, and how to quiet their minds with simple, fun meditation techniques. We’ll help lay the groundwork for a healthy lifestyle that will last a lifetime, and provide your children with some of the tools they’ll need to find the answers to life’s challenges within themselves.

Yoga for Diabetes

We’ll guide you through a gentle, focused yoga practice that concentrates on improving overall strength, flexibility, and physical fitness. Keeping in mind the unique challenges that diabetes introduces to your life, we’ll learn to work with your diabetes, not against it, to forge a health routine that complements your unique needs and health goals.

Ayurveda and Your Health

If you’ve ever wondered how alternative approaches could benefit your health, then this workshop is for you. We’ll introduce the basics of the ancient Indian healing science of Ayurveda (Natural Mind-Body Medicine). We’ll work with you to discover your unique physical, mental, and emotional constitution (dosha) and how specific foods, herbs, and activities can help you achieve true health.
